TESDA-Aklan Conducts Youth Profiling

For Starring Career As Job Promotion Support Service

TESDA-Aklan with the full support of the Dept. of Education School Division Officials is all set for the conduct of the “Youth Profiling for Starring Career or YP4SC” in the province.
YP4SC is a nationwide project initiated by Secretary Augusto Boboy Syjuco. It targets high school students and out-of-school youth by providing them with support services that will assist them in making occupational choices and career decisions. Youth Profiling will enable them get appropriate training or courses to meet the skills requirements in the employment market, either wage or self-employment.
The first phase will focus on the ability profiling and career assessment of high school students in selected schools in Aklan, like the Norhwestern Visayan Colleges, Nalook National High School, Malinao School for Philippine Craftsmen, DIBI High School, Libacao Forestry and Vocational High School and Aklan National High School for Arts and Trades.
The schedule of YP4SC assessment are as follows:

October 3 – NVVC High School (Education Bldg.)
October 4 – Nalook National High School
October 5 – Northwestern Visayan Colleges and Malinao School for Philippine Craftsmen.
October 10 – Libacao Forestry and Vocational High School.

The results of the assessment will be interpreted by Profiles Asia Pacific, Inc. Partner agencies for the nationwide project are: CHED, PIA, DOST, OWWA, LBP, STI and NSCB. /MP mailto:madyaas_pen@yahoo.com
